Walking with Coaches: Ripley and Pyrford
Join Alison Reid as she guides us on a walk around Ripley and Pyrford.
As with other SECG walks, please wear walking boots and pack some water, a snack and rainwear. Aim to arrive by 09.20 for a prompt 09.30 start.
Meet at the public car park, Ripley Green, off Ripley High Street.
The route is via Ripley Green, Dunsborough Farm, the River Wey Navigation Canal, Walsham Gates, St Nicholas’ Church, Pyrford, Lady Place Farm, Pyrford Place and Pyrford Manor, RHS Wisley, Ockham Mill, Mill Lane and back through fields and light woodland to the public car park in Ripley.
Distance 4 25 miles, 3.6 miles without the extension to the walk of RHS Wisley.
