Walking with Coaches: Shere and Albury Place
Join John Buckley as he guides us on this walk around Shere and Albury Place.
As with other SECG walks, please wear walking boots and pack some water, a snack and rainwear. Aim to arrive by 09.20 for a prompt 09.30 start.
If travelling by car to Shere from Guildford, take the Shere exit off the A25. Just before you reach shops on your right, turn left up a rough track to the public car park. You meet the group here.
The route is along the Tillingbourne, through woodland to Albury Street, Sherborne Catholic Apostolic Church, Albury Park, the ancient church of St Peter and St Paul, Park Road, Parklands Farm, Sandy Lane, and St James’ Church, Shere.
