I am ICF Associate Certified Coach.  My love of coaching was sparked from being coached myself at several critical points in my career.  It was life-changing for me and I was hooked.

Most of my career has been spent working at the intersection of the private and public sector with 15 years as Chief Operating Officer of the Mayor of London’s promotional agency, London & Partners.

My personal and professional experience informs my coaching.  I empower purpose-driven people to navigate key transitions in their career allowing them to realise their potential through authentic leadership where they embody their values.  This might be by supporting them in taking up their first leadership role, through complex change programmes, building-high performing teams or embedding values-led cultures, whilst avoiding burn-out and managing work life balance.  There isn’t much that I haven’t experienced across a varied career.

I am also a trustee of the Thames Festival Trust, governor of a local primary school, church organist and enjoy long walks.

I have been mentoring since 2001, coaching since 2007 and coach training since 2010. It is the central part of my work and something that has given me great satisfaction as well as seeing many benefits for others.

My initial training was as a business coach, and subsequently I trained as an ICF accredited coach, and now hold their PCC level. The main pleasure I now get is teaching others to coach, either in their setting or on our accredited programmes.

What is a lack of confidence and direction really costing you? Continuously undervalued? Missing out on your dreams? Feeling disconnected? I see you and I hear you because I have been there. The good news is that life does not have to be this way!

Hi, I’m Grace (insert cheesy wave here). As an accountant working in financial services, I felt drained. It wasn’t just the crazy deadlines & the pressure of the job. It was something harder to pin-down. The feeling of ‘meh’ was my default setting. In order to escape, I found myself working excessively late nights hoping that at some point all the work would make me feel whole, make me feel valued, & heard… (Spoiler Alert: It didn’t.) I tried to change my life by making superficial shifts.

Slowly realising that I kept slipping into the same habits that didn’t serve me emotionally, mentally or professionally. I was going nowhere. In desperation I hired a life coach. Honestly, I had no idea what coaching even was, but I was curious, & I figured that I had nothing to lose. This was the start of a beautiful life changing journey. My coach helped me reconnect with who I am, what matters to me, & how to live my best life. I smile as I look back at where I have come from, & how challenging & rewarding the journey has been.

I have a clear understanding of who I am, what fills my cup, & the direction my life is headed. That’s why I wake up every day passionate about helping others to find their own paths with a structured coaching program designed to empower you to unlock all the best parts of you. I know, life’s busy. Give yourself permission to invest in your own happiness, success, & fulfilment. Your future is yours to write. Trust is an essential ingredient when working together.

Here’s some more information on my professional qualifications: I graduated from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), an international coaching program accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I am a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner & COR.E Transitions/Leadership Dynamics Specialist.

I chose to study at iPEC because of the school’s well established roots & high regard within the industry. Having obtained my accounting designation, I see an incredible value in having a well-recognised certification to be able to demonstrate that I have dedicated a large amount of time to refine my coaching skills & to ensure that my coaching has lasting results for my clients.

Hi there, I started coaching in 2001 after a thirteen years of commercial (mostly sales) experience in the technology, media and telecoms sectors.

I had been sitting on the roof of a houseboat on a lake near Srinagar in Kashmir at sunset, listening to the Muezzin calling the faithful to prayer. After months of exploration I finally realised that the thing that gives me the most satisfaction in life is helping people. I also love the world of business so it was obvious I should be coaching in business.

I’m lucky enough to have been in occupied solidly ever since with some great clients. I’m continuing to develop as an Exec coach (it never ends!) and my focus now is firmly on coaching leadership teams.

My clients tell me that I’m pragmatic and practical which my wife finds hard to believe.

Ian Leamon

I am a 121 Motivational Coach with over 20 years of experience and developing others, primarily in the John Lewis Partnership.

121 Personal Coaching: As your coach I will build rapport and chemistry with you through a genuine interest in your agenda. This means being in the moment with you, listening, asking targeted, thoughtful, open questions and challenging you where I believe it to be appropriate and helpful.

You will then design your own action plans and goals after each session, while both you and I will manage progress and accountability.

I will support you to let go of things that aren’t helpful. This can sometimes mean living alongside the unhelpful for a while to really notice what is going on for you.

I will help you to explore the things you do really well and use these skills and qualities as allies to make life even better.

121 Personal Coaching with Motivational Maps ®: There are times when we can feel highly motivated and the “doing” becomes easy, but what about when we get stuck? There are many reasons behind why we might not be motivated to start something… fear, lack of confidence, peer pressure…. to name but three.

Motivational Maps is a self perception inventory which means you are getting an insight into your motivations and where your energy is flowing right now.

Motivation is so crucial in shaping what is important to us (especially in the current climate), yet it can be really difficult sometimes to work out what truly drives us.

People ask what’s important to me…. happiness I say, it’s the key to everything, including my motivation. Being true to myself and authentic, showing appreciation, kindness and love for others is really important in my world. If some fun and humour can be added along the way, that’s always good too!

I began studying for the ILM Level 7 in Executive Coaching and Mentoring in September 2019 so am just beginning my coaching journey and really looking forward to making a difference to the lives of others. I’ve been lucky enough to work within various businesses, large and small, in different roles and directly with the leadership team, so I’ve had great exposure to the challenges and people issues that arise.

I’ve led work on employee engagement, culture and values and would love to use coaching to help businesses increase their engagement and business outcomes. I’m delighted to be part of the group and to connect with people who have the same passion as me, and to learn from you all.

My coaching and mentoring experience has been in senior corporate roles in Europe, the Middle and Far East.

Having left corporate life a few years ago I attained a Diploma in Professional Coaching and Mentoring from the OCS and I am a year into coaching and mentoring as a consultant. I also hold two business administration related master’s degrees.

In my corporate roles I have coached and mentored leaders in senior, often C suite, roles internationally including Europe, the Middle East and Asia. I have a strong background in integrating different national and work cultures to achieve high performing teams. My roles have included establishing start-ups and growing mature businesses. I have strong strategy formulation and implementation skills.

I love the people side of business, seeing people and teams grow and the impact this has on organisation performance. This is my motivation to now become and independent coach and mentor.

Marsha Hall

Having experienced the benefits of coaching in my own life. I know that wonderful feeling of satisfaction and excited motivation when you start to see your goals achieved. I also understand that it’s not always easy to keep constantly focused by yourself when you have so many other things going on.

Sometimes it’s hard to see the wood for the trees. I know, I’ve been there.

Having started and run a business as a bespoke shoemaker for 13 years plus other businesses as well, so I know first hand the benefits of a coach in both life and business. My aim is to come along side you, find out what your goals are, and help guide you to get there quicker. It’s a wonderful feeling.

She firmly believes that self worth is a lifestyle not a luxury. With over 25 years’ experience in helping individuals focus on their development both professionally and personally, her passion is in supporting individuals to connect with who they really are and what they really want. She nurtures them to be happy in their skin by quashing self doubt and reconnecting with their true self so they can illuminate their path of possibilities and make resonant choices. In 2016 she launched the Happy to be ME hub (shortlisted for an ‘exceptional business award’ 2017 and two awards in 2018) an online community where people can share what’s made them smile and how they have connected with gratitude.

It has fostered a culture where everyone supports and champions each other to be their authentic selves and be happy to be in their own skin. Nicola is regularly invited to speak at events and has spoken at the UK ICF conference and for several of their chapters.

She also writes regularly for a number of online mediums on self care, wellbeing and authenticity – three of her top values. Recent clients have included Princes Trust, NHS and other charity organisations, both within the UK and internationally.

I am a qualified and accredited coach, and I am also a qualified therapeutic counsellor, so I bring a depth of psychological knowledge and expertise to my coaching.

I offer two types of coaching:

Executive Coaching: I coach leaders and managers to improve their job and life satisfaction and enhance their performance by leveraging their strengths and values. I provide a safe and supportive space where they can think and reflect and explore new possibilities. Many people find that having a trusted confidante and the space to think and understand themselves and their patterns better, benefits them in both their professional and personal lives.

Therapeutic Coaching: I coach people who want to take stock of their lives or make a positive change in their lives, by helping them to look at past and present patterns and leverage their strengths and values to bring about the change that they want. I provide a safe, confidential and reflective space where people can be themselves and talk openly about what matters most to them. This is a blended approach leveraging both my coaching and counselling skills to provide just what each person needs in each session.

I am an accredited senior practitioner in coaching with the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Steve Wallace

My passion for coaching evolved naturally. I saw police colleagues unleash their true potential and the joy that brought. I received coaching late on in my career, and now strive to deliver coaching opportunities to all. On leaving policing I launched my own leadership development company Blue Husky Ltd.

After a rollercoaster 30 years in UK policing, I left as a Chief Superintendent. I have 20 years’ leadership experience nationally and internationally – I led teams in some of the most challenging contexts and was totally committed to protecting the vulnerable in society. My resilience, values and leadership have all been tested and developed – with many lessons gleaned.

I seek work where I can make the most impact wuth teams and individuals. I help the private, public and third sector tackling their prickly challenges.  I am now a leadership associate and coach for the College of Policing. I also deliver coaching for their ‘Aspire’ programme for under-represented leaders.

My mission is to deliver bespoke development programmes and coaching that totally focuses on clients’ needs in their current context. I believe by tackling the difficult issues, they will be more effective and happier. I am an EMCC Practitioner 1-1 coach. I have a Level 7 Diploma in Team Coaching.

I voluntarily chair the Governors Board for Merrywood Education. During Covid we opened two trauma informed independent special schools for children with the most complex needs. I have completed endurance events and my sporting experiences help shape my approaches.

Toby Gosden

Toby combines his interest and passion in understanding how our minds work with 27 years of experience working in academic, industry and consultancy sectors.

Toby’s approach is to listen without judgement so as to gain an understanding of the person he is coaching, and then to take the conversation ‘upstream’ at some point to view things from a different perspective.

Toby is interested in what brings people to life, what they really want, as well as which of the stories we tell ourselves are genuinely true versus those that strangle our life energy and stop us from fulfilling our potential. Gaining this clarity can help transform how a coachee sees their situation and their mind habits, as well as identify what action is required (if at all).

Toby is accredited in this type of transformative coaching after attending the Genius Catalyst course for coaches by Michael Neill. Toby is also a licensed practitioner of Insights Discovery, which can be used alongside other tools within the coaching sessions to help raise self-awareness. Self-awareness is key to understanding and allowing ourselves without judgement and therefore harnessing our full personal power.
