I am ICF Associate Certified Coach.  My love of coaching was sparked from being coached myself at several critical points in my career.  It was life-changing for me and I was hooked.

Most of my career has been spent working at the intersection of the private and public sector with 15 years as Chief Operating Officer of the Mayor of London’s promotional agency, London & Partners.

My personal and professional experience informs my coaching.  I empower purpose-driven people to navigate key transitions in their career allowing them to realise their potential through authentic leadership where they embody their values.  This might be by supporting them in taking up their first leadership role, through complex change programmes, building-high performing teams or embedding values-led cultures, whilst avoiding burn-out and managing work life balance.  There isn’t much that I haven’t experienced across a varied career.

I am also a trustee of the Thames Festival Trust, governor of a local primary school, church organist and enjoy long walks.

I am warm, grounded and calm in my coaching approach. I genuinely believe in the inherent resourcefulness of each of my clients and am motivated to support individuals on their unique journey of discovery through the coaching process.

After more than a decade managing front line multidisciplinary teams in the NHS in major acute hospital trusts in London I have relocated with my young family to Surrey where I grew up. I am privileged to be taking up a new role as Associate Director of Operations for Integrated Community Services for the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust from April 2023. In this role I will work with partners from across the health and social care sectors to develop and deliver services to meet the needs of our local population in South West Surrey.

Alongside this role, and within this work, I will apply my coaching skills and mindset to support others to make great choices, find purpose and direction in their own lives. Working with others in a coaching relationship is a gift and a joy for me. I love working with individual clients and as an Action Learning Set facilitator.

I have been mentoring since 2001, coaching since 2007 and coach training since 2010. It is the central part of my work and something that has given me great satisfaction as well as seeing many benefits for others.

My initial training was as a business coach, and subsequently I trained as an ICF accredited coach, and now hold their PCC level. The main pleasure I now get is teaching others to coach, either in their setting or on our accredited programmes.

Much of the focus of my coaching work has been with leaders in education. It is a joy to work with school leaders, and increasingly they are engaging in coaching for themselves and for colleagues.

The other part of my work is supporting coaches with their development. I run Love Your Coaching, an ILM coach training centre, and also work as an ICF coach mentor and a coaching supervisor. This is the other joy – supporting coaches to develop their own skills.

Happy to chat coaching, any time. Do get in touch!

Hi there, I started coaching in 2001 after a thirteen years of commercial (mostly sales) experience in the technology, media and telecoms sectors.

I had been sitting on the roof of a houseboat on a lake near Srinagar in Kashmir at sunset, listening to the Muezzin calling the faithful to prayer. After months of exploration I finally realised that the thing that gives me the most satisfaction in life is helping people. I also love the world of business so it was obvious I should be coaching in business.

I’m lucky enough to have been in occupied solidly ever since with some great clients. I’m continuing to develop as an Exec coach (it never ends!) and my focus now is firmly on coaching leadership teams.

My clients tell me that I’m pragmatic and practical which my wife finds hard to believe.

Ian Leamon

I am a 121 Motivational Coach with over 20 years of experience and developing others, primarily in the John Lewis Partnership.

121 Personal Coaching: As your coach I will build rapport and chemistry with you through a genuine interest in your agenda. This means being in the moment with you, listening, asking targeted, thoughtful, open questions and challenging you where I believe it to be appropriate and helpful.

You will then design your own action plans and goals after each session, while both you and I will manage progress and accountability.

I will support you to let go of things that aren’t helpful. This can sometimes mean living alongside the unhelpful for a while to really notice what is going on for you.

I will help you to explore the things you do really well and use these skills and qualities as allies to make life even better.

121 Personal Coaching with Motivational Maps ®: There are times when we can feel highly motivated and the “doing” becomes easy, but what about when we get stuck? There are many reasons behind why we might not be motivated to start something… fear, lack of confidence, peer pressure…. to name but three.

Motivational Maps is a self perception inventory which means you are getting an insight into your motivations and where your energy is flowing right now.

Motivation is so crucial in shaping what is important to us (especially in the current climate), yet it can be really difficult sometimes to work out what truly drives us.

People ask what’s important to me…. happiness I say, it’s the key to everything, including my motivation. Being true to myself and authentic, showing appreciation, kindness and love for others is really important in my world. If some fun and humour can be added along the way, that’s always good too!

If you would like to know more about how I can help you, please take a look at my website: www.kannemeyercoaching.co.uk

I am an HR consultant and Executive Coach. After many years in the world of corporate HR, I left to set up my own HR Consultancy and Coaching business in 2017, having qualified as a coach with AoEC.

I work on a variety of HR projects and coaching both within large corporates and smaller organisations. However, my real passion is to help leaders within organisations to become more effective, both individually (through coaching), and to help them develop their teams to understand themselves and each other better (through the use of psychometrics, team building events and coaching). I also help them deal with their difficult people issues effectively. This enables them to improve the performance of their team.

In addition, I work with individuals who are at a crossroads in their career and don’t know what to do, to enable them to clarify the way forwards and confidently make the changes they want to make.

Coaching is a powerful process and I am passionate about the change it can bring about in people’s lives.

Working within the corporate environment for almost 30 years, I have seen how people struggle with workplace change and how that has affected career choices and confidence. This can also lead to frustration and self-doubt, jeopardising progression at the very time when focus should be put on advancement and satisfaction.

I specialise in supporting individuals to build on the skills they have already developed, so that they can identify themselves and push for the recognition and promotion they deserve.

“At a critical time as I started a new company, with all the pressure and uncertainty that brings, Rob gave me the space to think calmly and rationally. His ability to listen, understand and challenge was exactly what I needed.” – Client: F.P.

Navigating today’s complex, fast-paced, and office-based/remote organisational landscape can be challenging. My mission as a coach is to support individuals in thinking through the tough and tricky situations they may face. I am deeply committed to helping clients enhance their self-awareness and overcome any self-limiting beliefs that can hold them back.

With a focus on coaching the whole person, I aim to integrate balance into every aspect of my clients’ lives, not just their professional personas. I help individuals tap into their full potential and develop the skills necessary to maintain a healthy work-life balance for both personal and professional success.

My coaching style is gentle, calm and considered, creating a space of trust and openness where I listen intently, reflect on observations, and offer constructive challenges and help structure thinking around mental frameworks. I believe that true growth comes from understanding oneself better, and my approach encourages clients to explore the narratives they tell themselves, facilitating breakthroughs that lead to lasting change.

“Rob helped me to look inward at what I wanted to achieve and to break down the barriers to my goals and explore other avenues. He was a great facilitator, encouraging self-reflection.” – Client: N.T.

My passion for coaching evolved naturally. I saw police colleagues unleash their true potential and the joy that brought. I received coaching late on in my career, and now strive to deliver coaching opportunities to all. On leaving policing I launched my own leadership development company Blue Husky Ltd.

After a rollercoaster 30 years in UK policing, I left as a Chief Superintendent. I have 20 years’ leadership experience nationally and internationally – I led teams in some of the most challenging contexts and was totally committed to protecting the vulnerable in society. My resilience, values and leadership have all been tested and developed – with many lessons gleaned.

I seek work where I can make the most impact wuth teams and individuals. I help the private, public and third sector tackling their prickly challenges.  I am now a leadership associate and coach for the College of Policing. I also deliver coaching for their ‘Aspire’ programme for under-represented leaders.

My mission is to deliver bespoke development programmes and coaching that totally focuses on clients’ needs in their current context. I believe by tackling the difficult issues, they will be more effective and happier. I am an EMCC Practitioner 1-1 coach. I have a Level 7 Diploma in Team Coaching.

I voluntarily chair the Governors Board for Merrywood Education. During Covid we opened two trauma informed independent special schools for children with the most complex needs. I have completed endurance events and my sporting experiences help shape my approaches.

Toby Gosden

Toby combines his interest and passion in understanding how our minds work with 27 years of experience working in academic, industry and consultancy sectors.

Toby’s approach is to listen without judgement so as to gain an understanding of the person he is coaching, and then to take the conversation ‘upstream’ at some point to view things from a different perspective.

Toby is interested in what brings people to life, what they really want, as well as which of the stories we tell ourselves are genuinely true versus those that strangle our life energy and stop us from fulfilling our potential. Gaining this clarity can help transform how a coachee sees their situation and their mind habits, as well as identify what action is required (if at all).

Toby is accredited in this type of transformative coaching after attending the Genius Catalyst course for coaches by Michael Neill. Toby is also a licensed practitioner of Insights Discovery, which can be used alongside other tools within the coaching sessions to help raise self-awareness. Self-awareness is key to understanding and allowing ourselves without judgement and therefore harnessing our full personal power.

I’ve been running Wendy Strohm Associates for 30 years – offering coaching throughout this time, and supervision over the last 15 years.  I enjoy creating the space for clients to think and reflect and explore possibilities that may have a positive impact.  I use honesty, challenge and call to action to support clients.  We work with organisations, executives, leaders and managers to navigate change, explore performance, and people-related work.

I am on the Board of the South East Coaching Group, currently serving as Chair.  This is a volunteer role.

I have other roles in coaching and assessment, including CIPD.  I also act as a non-executive director and in business advice, including for Investors in People.  I have a close relationship with EMCC Global as an assessor and panel chair, and with EMCC UK as a recent member of the governing body.

I am accredited with EMCC for coaching at master practitioner level and also an accredited supervisor.  I am certified in the Thinking Environment (Nancy Kline) and am a registered Collegiate member.
